Jonathan:Another day in Boston, and it was great. We took some of our team to the M.I.T. campus and met a few students who were interested in Aletheia Church. One student prayed to accept Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior. As we passed out candy again in the neighborhood, people were beginning to recognize the church and were interested in attending. Praise God for the seeds being planted in Boston.
Victoria: Day 6, Boston: Got to just give the simplicity of Jesus and the gospel to people. "We love God, We love Jesus, We believe in the word. That's it." People were surprised there were no extremes, no hidden rule, just truth. I'm also believing for Neoke, a homeless woman in Boston, to repent, be delivered of her destitution, and walk in the newness of life in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Thank you Lord for opening the eyes of my heart to the people of this world and not giving up when I was rejected. I know that seeds were planted today in the few I talked to. Thank you for helping me be gracious and real with them. I'm TRUSTING in the Lord, He will do all the heavy lifting!!
Grace: Day 6 in Boston was centered on trusting God. I met with a Harvard student who I had done the God test with on Tuesday. She took time out of her work schedule to come meet me and Laura and the two of us shared who Jesus is in our lives. It was refreshing to meet with a student who is searching and has questions and even doubts about christianity because we were given a great opportunity to answer some and invite her to Aletheia. I thank God for this meeting today & trust in His power to reveal Himself to her in His perfect timing!
Nick: Day 6 was another powerful day. I am so proud of our team here who has been loving people unconditional and sharing their faith in the midst of their personal fear. We were able to go to Harvard and MIT yesterday as well as pass out candy to bless the city. So many people didn't believe that the candy was free they always wanted to know what was the catch. I had one man tell me as he was leaving that this was the first free thing he had received in 20 years. That statement broke my heart knowing that their were more bostonians like him and especially that Jesus was wanting to give them something free.
