Boston Day 4
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 8:20PM Maj: Day 4 Boston
We kicked the day off with our devotion on anointing. Powerful reassurance that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I was pumped-up with our devotion time and was so eager to put it into practice. But to my surprise as soon as we get into Harvard University I was in tachycardic state, good thing I don’t have any hypertension issues. Then I was reminded that the reason why my heart was pounding so fast was because I am focused on how big the obstacles are rather than seeing how big my God was. The fun part was I felt God’s comfort and anointing otherwise I could have just backed-out for the day. We started engaging with people. Talked with groups of nursing and pre-med students, agnostics, and the one girl named Brett whom we will meet tomorrow for a cup of tea.
Madel: Today, I did something I've never done my entire life! That is, to go and talk to a stranger, (let alone a smart, intellectual, talented person), and talk to him/her about my faith. I can honestly say that I really stepped out of myself today and just trusted in what God was asking me to do. I especially loved talking with this girl named Alena and I am really believing that God is working in her heart right now. I am just beyond grateful that God allowed me to be on this trip and to be a part of something so much bigger than myself. My faith is like on exponential growth ever since I got here.
