We're Here!
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:42PM Ten Days Waco is on the ground and God is moving. Students from Texas State, University of Texas, and Abilene University have given up their spring break to come and serve the community and minister to students at Baylor University. Today we finished planting a vegetable garden at Friends for Life assisted living center and volunteered our time to at the Generations adoption agency assisting their office staff and washing their vehicles. The past two days we've spent time at local laundromats, paying for people's laundry, sharing the gospel, and praying for them. Quite a few have been touched, and a handful have put their faith in Jesus. We'll be spending most of tomorrow on campus, reaching out to students and looking for opportunities to share our own stories. It's quite surprising to find out how many students there are on a Christian campus who don't claim to follow Jesus. It should be an exciting day.
Ten Days Waco
Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:55PM This trip will be led by Peter Dusan from Texas. This is an amazing opportunity to have a short term missions experience for a nominal cost and it includes the price of Campus Harvest! This team will be reaching out to students on the campus of Baylor University. Then, the same team is able to travel together to Campus Harvest at the end of March for another unforgettable experience.
If you live in Texas and you want to have a short term missions experience while on spring break, this is an ideal opportunity.
